Abell's Bats Come Alive

The bats came alive for Jack Abell on Tuesday night as they beat Personal Best at Ort Field, 15-8.

A couple of defensive miscues allowed Personal Best to take an early 3-0 lead. However, Abell fought back with four runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back. Everyone for Abell put the ball in play with the bat. Colton Sivic, Dylan Shockey, Josh Van Meter and Trenton Swan all had multiple hit games for Abell.

Jack Hawkins pitched four strong innings, with good bullpen help from Chad Broadway and Van Meter. There were several good catches in the outfield by Swan and O'Brien.

Abell plays again this Friday at 6 pm
